The early days of resource mining in the Goldrat were defined by a distinctive method known as sluicing. Developing from the demand to extract coveted minerals from the highly compacted riverbeds, sluicing emerged as a prevalent practice. Resourceful miners would fabricate elaborate sluice boxes, meticulously channeling the river water to wash a
